The specific advice for using play areas is that parents are asked to supply their own hand sanitiser and to remind children about maintaining their distance.
The general advice is:
Keep two metres apart, but where this isn’t possible keep a social distance of ‘one metre plus’, this means keeping to guidelines set out by Government such as wearing a mask.
Two households of any size will be able to meet indoors or outside.
People from multiple households can meet outside in groups of up to six – but two households can meet regardless of size.
More businesses can reopen including restaurants, pubs, hairdressers, libraries, museums, some leisure facilities, tourist attractions and holiday accommodation providing they follow safety guidelines.
Advice on reopening play areas: we are working as quickly as we possibly can to complete the work necessary to maintain social distancing in the 200 play areas the council maintains across West Suffolk. This may mean, for example, that where two swings are next to each other one may have to be removed for the time being.
