Technician with Duty Management

Haverhill Arts Centre is seeking two highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Technicians with Duty Management responsibilities to work across Haverhill Arts Centre and Haverhill Town Council outdoor events. You will work closely with other members of the technical team as well as other town council staff and members of the wider community. As well as possessing excellent technical expertise and knowledge you must also have good communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

Marketing Officer

This new role offers an amazing opportunity to take the reins of Haverhill Town Council’s marketing and communications across all its operations, including promoting Haverhill Arts Centre, the Zone soft play centre and all our services and events in Haverhill.

We are looking for someone with experience, preferably with Arts Marketing experience CRM and social media management.

Council Administrator

We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills to help organise meetings of the Council, take notes during our meetings and produce the official minutes.

Salary £13.17 per hour.

Duty Manager

Haverhill Town Council is looking for someone who is a good leader, able to get along with a variety of people and who is good at resolving conflicts with members of the public. You would be responsible for acting as a Front of House team leader for performances, events and functions. You should also be able to assist with the staging of arts and leisure events at the Arts Centre and at other sites within Haverhill. 

Salary £12.47 per hour.

The Zone Team Members

The Zone Soft Play Centre in Haverhill is looking for new team members who enjoys working in a fun atmosphere with the public. We can offer various shifts including, daytime, evening, weekend work, and school holidays. Your responsibilities will range from reception work, supervising children in the soft play areas, taking customers’ orders, preparing/serving meals and cleaning duties. 

Under 21: National Minimum Wage, currently £6.83 per hour

Over 21: National ‘Real Living Wage’ Currently £9.90 per hour

Job vacancies are advertised with Job Centre Plus, as well as being advertised in the local press and through social media.  Prospective applicants are welcome to lodge their details with us so they can be notified of vacancies as they arise.  We also offer access to apprenticeships and work experience.


We welcome all people aged 16+ interested in café and usher work on Saturdays and as casual work, to send in their CVs for us to hold as these opportunities arise quite often, particularly when previous A-Level students working with us go off to university or obtain full-time employment.  You must be 18+ to work in our bar.
