Haverhill Town Council will commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.
Friday 15th August – Flag raising ceremony at 9:00am on the Market Square.
Thursday 21st August – Commemoration to be held in St. Mary’s Church at 7:00pm.
The commemoration will include reading, musical performances and stories of Haverhill soldiers.
