VEDay 75 in (lockdown) Haverhill
On 8th May 2020 it will be 75 years since the end of WW2 in Europe. Under normal circumstances we had planned to honour the significance of the day with a series of events and community celebrations but our plans have obviously had to change. Instead we are pleased to introduce:

Watch out for posts on our Facebook page with ideas and recipes so you can mark the occasion in your own home. Invoke some of that famous Blitz spirit and have your own stay safe, stay at home VE Day party!
At 3.00pm on 8th May, the Mayor of Haverhill John Burns will be online to lead a virtual toast to the heroes of World War II. Please join in by going to the Haverhill Town Council Facebook page and don’t forget to tell your friends and family about it.
