Knife Angel Activities
The Knife Angel statue will be on display on the Haverhill Market Square from Saturday 31 August to Monday 30 September, and during this time Haverhill Town Council, in partnership with community groups and organisations from Haverhill and Suffolk will be hosting a series of events and pop-up stalls.
Pop-up stalls on the Market Square with Brave Futures, Choose Biscuits, Body Boundaries and Healthy Relationships.
Brave Futures - participate in quizzes centred around healthy relationships and win prizes based on your understanding.
Choose Biscuits - Work together to learn valuable lessons about communication and consent.

Criminal Exploitation Hubs on the Market Square
Healing Bus pop-up stall on the Market Square.
Healing Bus - The Healing Bus is a mobile prayer ministry that uses a minibus to travel throughout the UK. The team offer to pray with anyone and everyone either in or out of the bus and hand out free Christian literature.

Darkness to Light Art Exhibition
Artwork from prisoners that has been created on the theme of anti-knife crime and the Knife Angel. There will also be opportunities for children to draw a Knife Angel.

Sports Day activity

Join us for a day of sports and activities on Saturday 14th September from 11am – 2pm!
On the astroturf pitch at Haverhill Leisure Centre, come and take part in football, basketball, netball, rounders, races and more!
The event will be run by Abbeycroft, Suffolk Positive Futures, Youth Workers and Haverhill Safer Neighbourhood Police Team – it is totally FREE with no need to book, just drop in.
Music from spoke word poet, and a hip hop artist Rev Kiran Lotay.
Create your own anti-knife crime poster that will be displayed in Haverhill Library (ages 10-15).

Haverhill Town Council invite you to join us for a candlelit ceremony to mark the departure of The Knife Angel in Haverhill on Friday 27 September on Haverhill Market Square.
Please bring a tealight, or an LED tealight, to place in front of the Knife Angel.
