This year Haverhill Town Council is excited to announce a Christmas Carnival taking place on Saturday 29 November.
The day will include:
- A Christmas carnival parade
- Market stalls along Haverhill High Street and Queen Street
- Christmas lights switch-on on the Market Square
- Christmas fireworks display on the Rec.

Thanks to West Suffolk Council, there will be free parking available on the day at the Haverhill Arts Centre car park (CB9 8DN).
Timings
There will be an abundance of market stalls along Haverhill High Street, Queen Street and the Market Square.

The parade will start from the Haverhill Arts Centre car park before heading down the High Street, circling around Queen Street and gathering on the Market Square.

The reindeer will be on Queen Street from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

🎄 Haverhill & District Churches Together Christmas Event – Saturday 29th November 🎄
Join Haverhill & District Churches Together for a day of festive fun and celebration
🕚 11am – Nativity story told at the end of St Mary's churchyard, with carols played by the Youth and Community Band.
🎨 Children’s activities – Lantern-making and Christmas crafts throughout the day.
🌟 4:30pm – Join the carnival under the banner “Jesus, Light of the World”.
Want to be part of the Christmas Carnival parade?
Dress as your favourite nativity character and bring your lantern! Meet in the car park behind the Arts Centre.

Yellow Blossom Photography will be holding a special Christmas themed photoshoot for families and pets from 10:00am – 1:00pm at their studio on 6b High Street, Haverhill, CB9 8AA.
Havebury will be at The Link between 1:00pm and 4:00pm, hosting free Christmas ornament decorating and gingerbread decorating.
No need to book, just drop by and give it a go!
Mystic & Bizarre will be having a 10% discount on all items in store during the Christmas Carnival on Saturday 29 November.
