memorial-day

To celebrate Haverhill being chosen as the lead town for Suffolk Day 2024, we have taken a look back over some of the brilliant events from the last year.

From the always successful Haverhill In The Park to the popular Halloween Trail, these events have showcased the best of Haverhill and what a welcoming town we have.

Being the lead town for Suffolk Day is the perfect excuse to remember such fond events and to show that Haverhill has so much to offer. See below a few of our stand-out events from the last year.

Haverhill In The Park

Haverhill In The Park has always been a hugely popular event and 2023 was no exception. The free-to-attend festival saw hundreds of music lovers flock to the stage to see local bands and singers perform, as well as musicians from far and wide across the UK. The 2023 festival was headlined by Faux Fighters, Miss Disco and The Committed.

Haverhill In The Park is making a welcome return for 2024, running from 16-17 August. Click here for more information.

Christmas Fun

To mark the Christmas celebrations in the High Street, Haverhill welcomed the Makers Market, stalls, activities and fairground rides.

Families could also pay a visit to Santa's Grotto, watch the Christmas tree and lights switch-on and live musical performances/entertainment throughout the day.

Halloween Trail

Every year the Halloween Trail grows in popularity and 2023 was the scariest yet!

East Town Park played host to scary props and even scarier creatures and monsters last October, and plans for this year's event are already underway...

Big Day Out

The Big Day Out proved a great success with rock climbing, free family activities, face painting, go-karts and bouncy castles to name but a few!

Picnic In The Park

Picnic In The Park at East Town Park was packed with fun activities, arts and crafts, circus skills, an eco themed trail, the nerf target game and much more!
