Staff Welfare Officer

Haverhill Town Council is seeking an aspiring or retiring HR professional interested in a part-time role at our busy council. As well as maintaining HR records and preparing the payroll, the role requires a focus on staff welfare for our team of over 50 people, making sure that
training, compliance and our employment practices remain aligned with good practice.

The Zone Cover Team Leader

Varied shifts to cover sickness and holidays
Including evening and weekend shifts to be worked
£12.00 per hour

Youth Worker

Overall Responsibilities

  1. To work with the senior Youth Worker to provide outreach services to young people using the On The Spot Van.
  2. To work with the senior Youth Worker to provide Detached youth work services to young people:
  3. To work within a building to provide informal education in a safe and welcoming environment.


Non-Qualified: £12.47 per hour
Qualified: £14.17 per hour

The Zone Team Member

Overall Responsibilities

To work with the Project Manager to provide a safe, enjoyable and secure environment for all visitors to The Zone.

Under 18: £8.60 per hour
Over 18: £12 per hour

Varied shifts including evening and weekend shifts to be worked.

We welcome all people aged 16+ interested in café and usher work on Saturdays and as casual work, to send in their CVs for us to hold as these opportunities arise quite often, particularly when previous A-Level students working with us go off to university or obtain full-time employment.  You must be 18+ to work in our bar.
