Community Garden Workshops

Haverhill Town Council are running a series of workshops to help gather ideas to develop the former Chalkstone Middle School Playing Fields into a Community Garden. Maybe you are a local resident? Perhaps you are a former pupil at Chalkstone Middle? You may be the organiser of a group who could play an ongoing part in the develop of the garden? Or just someone who thinks they may be able to make a positive contribution. A series of workshops will be run with artist Stephanie Hartick. During the session you will learn the basic considerations when designing a site and will be encouraged to generate and develop your own ideas. Numbers are limited and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Workshops will be socially distanced, Covid-Safe and should take place outdoors. If we are interested in attending please complete the form below. Please return before Saturday 8 August. Thank you.
